On March 16, in Bishkek, employees of the crime prevention department stopped a driver of a Lexus GX470 who was using a fake state license plate.
The plate had the inscription "NURAYIM," to which the driver explained that it was the name of his girlfriend and he had made this plate himself for his car.
The department noted that the use of counterfeit state license plates is a serious violation of the law.
The car was impounded, and the driver received a violation report.
Additionally, the vehicle was found to have illegal tinting on the front side windows, for which there was no corresponding permit.
As a result, the driver was fined 55,000 soms.
