
According to foreign sources, several people were injured as a result of the collision. Preliminary information indicates that at least two emergency service employees sustained serious injuries. There were about 100 passengers on board the aircraft, all of whom were successfully evacuated. Information about any injuries among them is currently being clarified.

Published footage shows that the nose of the aircraft is severely damaged. It is also reported that at the time of the incident, heavy rain was falling in the airport area, and visibility was poor.
After the incident, LaGuardia Airport was temporarily closed, and all arriving flights were redirected to other airports. It is expected that operations at LaGuardia will be restored shortly.
