The incident took place on December 26, when a passenger on flight LH 0722, which was traveling from Munich to Beijing, lost consciousness and subsequently passed away.
The crew, realizing the situation, made the decision to land immediately. A medical service from the airport and a city ambulance crew were dispatched to the aircraft.
Upon the arrival of medical professionals, it was determined that the passenger, unfortunately, did not survive until landing, as he had died during the flight, according to the statement.
After completing all necessary procedures, the aircraft was refueled in Almaty, and at 7:56 local time, it continued its journey to Beijing.
