Aigul Bulanova, head of the electricity sales department of the Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise, spoke about raids in the capital aimed at saving electricity. In an interview on "Birinchi Radio," she noted that such inspections are carried out by energy sales staff both during the day and in the evening.

“During the day, we monitor to ensure that outdoor lighting is not turned on, and we negotiate the shutdown of excessive advertising. Additionally, the government has issued an order stating that state institutions must operate until 6:00 PM, after which lighting should be turned off,” she added. In the evening, the raids focus on large facilities, where it is checked whether heating has been reduced. This has been done for several years, and generally, we are met with understanding. In case of refusal to turn off the heating, the energy supply organization can annul the technical conditions, as stipulated in the usage rules. At the same time, explanatory work is being carried out aimed at preserving the energy system,” Bulanova emphasized.

She also urged citizens to avoid using energy-intensive appliances simultaneously during peak hours, not to use electricity for heating, and to conserve resources as much as possible.

“It is very important now for each person to take measures and turn off the lights when leaving a room. Do not turn on unnecessary heating. Moreover, you will feel better if you live in a cooler environment,” she noted.

Zamirbek Temirbekov, head of the production and technical department of the BPEE, advised using Class A appliances, maintaining a comfortable room temperature of 20-22 degrees, replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs, and avoiding the use of washing machines and dishwashers at night.
