The event titled “The Voice of the Nation - The Epic of Manas” took place at School No. 51 in the capital, dedicated to the Day of the Epic “Manas”.
The Bishkek city hall reported that among the participants were storytellers from the National Theater "Manas," Uzarbek Anarbekov and Ularbek Mirlan uulu. Also present was Perizat Bakirova, the leading specialist in the state language at the Education Department of the city hall, who addressed the students with congratulations on the occasion of the holiday.
The celebration opened with a performance by the akyn Kutman Sadybakassov. The students prepared a dramatization of “The Birth of Manas” and also showcased songs, dances, and choral performances.
