In Bishkek, a new edition of the literary anthology of young authors was presented

On December 11 in Bishkek, in honor of the National Day of Literature, the State Fund for Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations organized a presentation of the new issue of the young authors' almanac "Saamalik-18," which also coincided with the 25th anniversary of the "Saamalik" project.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Science, the event was attended by Deputy Minister Kemel Sadykov.

“The National Day of Literature emphasizes the key role of words and creativity in shaping the cultural identity of the people. For 25 years, the "Saamalik" project has supported young writers, helping them take their first steps in literature and fostering their creative development. Supporting such initiatives is one of the priority areas of our ministry's work,” noted Sadykov.

Since 2000, the "Saamalik" almanac has presented the works of about 1,000 young authors to readers, among whom are Elmira Azhikanova, Talantaaly Bakchiyev, Elmirebek Imanaliev, Zayyrbek Azhymatov, Mirgul Naralieva, Mirlan Samykhojo, Erlan Jumagaziev, Rysbay Isakov, Ulukbek Omokeev, and Nazgul Osmonova, as well as Melisa Mamatjan uulu and many others.

The eighteenth issue includes works by talented schoolchildren, students, and young professionals that reflect the artistic vision of the new generation.

The presentation gathered representatives of the National Union of Writers, poets, writers, as well as young authors and literature enthusiasts.
