The traditional New Year celebration for children took place in Bishkek, organized at the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic. The event was attended by State Secretary Arslan Koichiev.

1100 children from all corners of the country were invited to the celebration, including honor students, winners of various olympiads and competitions, as well as children from orphanages, families who lost parents, and kids with disabilities.

For the young guests, a theatrical performance titled "City of Professions" was prepared, featuring dance groups.

In his address to the children, Arslan Koichiev noted their significant achievements. He reported that 39 participants of the celebration became prize winners at international olympiads, while the other kids won medals in competitions in mathematics, computer science, physics, biology, and cybersecurity, as well as at the European Olympiad in Informatics.

The Secretary of State also emphasized the successes of young athletes who distinguished themselves at the Asian Youth Games and international taekwondo tournaments, raising the flag of Kyrgyzstan on the podium.

Among the special moments of the celebration was the participation of fourth grader Nurzaman Almazbekov from Koo-Chaty, who became known thanks to a video where he walks through nearly a meter of snow on his way to school. Upon learning about his story, President Sadyr Japarov invited the boy to the New Year tree, where Nurzaman received gifts, including a laptop, a football, and a smartphone.

“You are the future of our country, its hope and strength. May the new year bring you confidence, joy, inspiration, and new achievements!” — said Arslan Koichiev.
