Tashiev inquired, "You don’t speak Kyrgyz?"
To which one of the company employees replied, "No, we speak Russian."
Tashiev, perplexed, remarked, "How is that possible? You have been working in Kyrgyzstan for 20 years and haven't even learned Kyrgyz? Learn it!" He also asked about the timeline for completing the 75 km road.
The company representative responded that, according to the contract, the completion of work is scheduled for September 1, 2028.
Tashiev clarified, "Are you not planning to finish the work earlier, or is it strictly according to the contract?"
To this, the representative of China Road replied, "We will try to finish ahead of schedule."
Tashiev emphasized, "So, by the end of 2027, right? Delays in construction cause inconvenience to people. We don’t need that. Therefore, while this is just a request, I hope you will complete the work ahead of time."
The company representative assured that the main work would be completed in 2027.
Additionally, Tashiev instructed to complete the section from Balykchy to Barskoon no later than August 31, 2026, adding, "If you don’t deliver, you will be held personally responsible," he addressed the Minister of Transport and Communications, Absattar Syrgabaev.
