Municipal leaders, representatives of law enforcement agencies, as well as employees of the Ministry of Transport and contractors working on the Balykchi — Barskoon road project were present at the meeting.
Tashiev expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the road repairs over a length of 141 kilometers, which began in 2021 and is still not completed. Responsible officials and contractors received a stern warning.
“In 2021, you signed a contract for $798,000, but now the construction costs have risen to $1.3-1.4 million. The work has not been completed on time! It is clear that organizational issues are in poor condition, and state control is insufficient. Therefore, I have taken this process under personal control. If the work is not completed on time and with quality, the responsible individuals will be held accountable. You will be strictly punished,” emphasized the head of the special service.
Additionally, Tashiev ordered the detention of the founder of LLC "Kyrgyz Zhol Kurolysh," Mirlan Isagaliev, due to the untimely completion of repairs on the Balykchi — Bokonbaeva — Karakol road section.
It was also instructed that the heads of construction companies complete the reconstruction of the Balykchi — Barskoon — Karakol road by August 31, 2026.
It should be noted that the reconstruction of the Balykchi — Bokonbaeva — Karakol road began in July 2021 following the order of President Sadyr Japarov. The general contractor for the project is the domestic Association of Road Construction Companies of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the section from 0 to 71 kilometers was carried out by LLC "Kyrgyz Zhol Kurolysh."
