The Forum of Literature as a Platform for Humanitarian Research



An international scientific and pedagogical forum and congress of the Society of Russian Literature took place in Moscow, based at Lomonosov Moscow State University. As part of this event, a competition titled "Echo of the Great Victory in the CIS Space" was held. As a result of the competition, a diploma was awarded to the work of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Institute of History and Socio-Legal Education named after E.J. Maanaev of KSU named after I. Arabayev, Synara Alymkulova. Her monograph "Kyrgyzstani Heroes of the Soviet Union and Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory: New Facts, Names" is dedicated to the systematization and clarification of data about individuals from Kyrgyzstan who were awarded the highest military honors during the Great Patriotic War.

The research includes archival documents and biographical information that allows for the supplementation of information about heroes whose contributions have not been adequately reflected in scientific literature. The work highlights the personal contributions of the republic's natives to the overall Victory, making it significant for both historical science and educational programs.

Research on the Feat of the Panfilov Division Recognized by the Jury



Also, as part of the competition, the work of Professor Laila Akhmetova from Kazakhstan was highly praised. As reported by kz24.news, her research is dedicated to the history of the 316th Rifle Division, which later became the 8th Guards Division named after General Ivan Panfilov, formed in Central Asia and played a key role in the defense of Moscow during the autumn of 1941.

The author utilizes a wide range of archival sources and thoroughly analyzes the combat path of the Panfilov Division, which included soldiers from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The feat of this unit is considered an important element of the common historical heritage of the region and represents a significant object for scientific analysis in the context of the Great Patriotic War.
