A section of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue in Bishkek, located between Semetey Street and Masaliev Avenue, has been opened for vehicle traffic. This became possible after the completion of the construction of four underground pedestrian crossings, as reported by the city hall press service.
Each of the underground crossings is 33.5 meters long and 4 meters wide. Currently, finishing works are ongoing inside the crossings, and the construction of stairs is also underway.

According to information received from the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, the work was carried out during the holidays to minimize the impact on traffic flows and reduce inconvenience for the residents.
