According to Eurostat, by the end of November 2025, the number of Ukrainian refugees who received temporary protection in EU countries reached 4.33 million people.

In the last month of autumn 2022, the number of Ukrainian refugees arriving in the EU increased by 30,000.

The largest number of refugees was accepted by Germany — 1 million 241 thousand, followed by Poland with 968 thousand 750 and the Czech Republic with 392 thousand 670.

Additionally, the United Kingdom, which left the EU, accepted about 230 thousand Ukrainians, although this information is not included in Eurostat statistics.

Eurostat also reports that after the decision by Ukrainian authorities in August to allow young people aged 18 to 22 to leave freely, the number of those receiving temporary protection in the EU increased by tens of thousands monthly in September and October; however, in November, the figures returned to previous levels.
