The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktay Urmambetov, Chief of the City Police Department Azamat Toktonaliev, as well as veterans and heads of departments.
The main topics of discussion included the results of work on ensuring public order, combating crime, preventing offenses, as well as issues of domestic violence and the functioning of the licensing and permit system.
Based on the reports presented, the leadership of the City Police Department announced directives aimed at strengthening discipline and increasing work efficiency. Some departments received evaluations of their performance, while a number of leaders were held accountable for identified shortcomings and improper execution of their duties.
At the conclusion of the event, awards were presented to the winners of the departmental competitions "Best in Profession" and "Best Veterans Council."
