Tashiev emphasized: "Some pawnshops set interest rates at 40, 50, 60, and even 100%. This is absolutely illegal. It is necessary to hold accountable all pawnshop institutions that ignore the usury law," he added, instructing to conduct inspections with the participation of employees from the State Tax Service and the National Bank.
"There should be no more than 30%. If the loan amount exceeds this limit, the funds should be returned to the owners. Why should we tolerate this outrage when people are left without their homes and cars? We are here to protect the interests of our citizens," Tashiev concluded.
