According to the information from the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), this individual, who has a criminal record, has been issuing loans at clearly predatory interest rates for a long time, using debts for the illegal re-registration of property. Transactions were carried out with the participation of affiliated persons and notaries who were under the control of the individual involved. The investigation also has data on pressure and threats, as well as possible connections with representatives of state structures.
During the investigation, special attention is being paid to the residential complex projects Silk Road (LLC Expert Stroy) and LLC Arz Development. It has been established that by providing plots for shared construction, the individual obstructed the implementation of projects, initiated arrests, terminated contracts, and made illegal demands. The list of victims includes 89 co-investors and several individuals. The damage is classified as particularly large.
Kamchybek Tashiev emphasized that the case is under his personal control. He instructed the GKNB units to identify all those involved in the criminal activity, assess the actions of officials, and ensure maximum compensation for the victims.
In addition, Tashiev ordered a review of all pawnshops in the country, including their interest rates and loan conditions.
