Currently, a draft resolution regarding the establishment of the Regulation on the Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood named after Aliyma Tashieva is open for public discussion.

The main task of this document is to normatively define the status, goals, functions, structure, and management procedures of the healthcare institution.

As reported by the Ministry of Health, the need for this decision has arisen from the requests of residents of the Jalal-Abad region and neighboring areas for more accessible and timely specialized medical assistance for women and children. At present, most specialized medical services are concentrated in Bishkek and Osh, which creates problems for residents of remote areas due to transportation limitations and risks of complications in obstetrics, neonatology, and pediatrics. This, in turn, increases waiting times for patients and places additional burdens on republican medical institutions.

According to the provided information, the Center will offer specialized diagnostic and therapeutic preventive assistance in areas such as obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, pediatrics, pediatric surgery, reproductive medicine, and cancer screening.

Furthermore, the institution will serve as a clinical base for scientific and methodological work in the field of maternal and child health, including continuing education programs for medical professionals.

It is important to note that the Tashiev family previously sold their oil base and built the Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood in the village of Chokmor, located in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region.
