In the Nookat district, land plots that were previously privately owned have returned to the municipality. This was reported by Shukurullo Sattarov, the head of the Ayil Okmotu of the Gulistan rural district in the Osh region.

Sattarov noted that all plots related to the stadium, which were owned by eight different individuals, are now back under the control of the municipality.

“We have completed the process of returning the land around the stadium. They are now in municipal ownership. Previously, the plots where the gas station (GS), car wash, and other facilities were located were fragmented and transferred to private hands. We have returned all these plots, including eight facilities related to the stadium. The state acts have been fully updated, and the total area amounted to 1 hectare and 90 ares. Currently, the parking lot and gas station continue to operate. At any moment, when a warning is given, these facilities will vacate the territory,” he added.

Earlier, Ergeshaly Shanazarov, the former head of the Ayil Okmotu, mentioned that in 2024, 15 ares of land related to the stadium were sold to private individuals.

“The main part of the stadium remained in ownership. Unfortunately, in 1999, a small area of 15 ares adjacent to the road was sold. We are still in litigation over this matter, and it is currently under consideration. Our claim has been partially satisfied, but the process is dragging on,” he reported.

The stadium was built in 1978. Although repairs were carried out from time to time, it has remained without proper maintenance for many years.

At the opening ceremony of the renovated section of the Nookat—Kyzyl-Kiya road, held on September 13, 2025, a promise was made: “If it is willed, next year we will build a modern and beautiful stadium.”
