The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan has announced the signing of key documents that initiate the Tunduk travel project — a platform aimed at tourists.
The development of the application involves the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy, the Fund for the Support and Development of Tourism, as well as JSC "Tunduk," which will be responsible for the technical aspects of the platform. All necessary digital infrastructure will be created based on this organization.
According to representatives of the Department of Tourism, the new service will significantly simplify the travel process in Kyrgyzstan while ensuring safety for tourists.
The Tunduk travel application will operate on the principle of a "single window," offering users access to government and service-related services, useful information, and business services. The development of the platform will be phased: first, the main functions will be launched, followed by testing and gradual expansion of capabilities.
User safety will be one of the main objectives of the project. The platform will protect tourists' personal data and ensure secure information exchange between various agencies, as well as provide assistance in emergency situations.
Users will be able to familiarize themselves in advance with the rules for staying in the country, routes, weather conditions, and access zones, and in case of need, quickly contact emergency services.
The agency emphasizes that Tunduk travel is not a temporary solution, but a long-term digital ecosystem that will evolve alongside the country's tourism industry. It is designed to improve convenience, safety, and the quality of tourist services in Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the project is to simplify the tourist's journey from the moment of entry into the country until the end of the trip, as well as to promote the development of the tourism business and increase transparency in this area.
