Residents of the Pervomaisky District Discussed Social Issues with the Mayor
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, in the Pervomaisky district, a meeting took place between Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and local residents regarding social issues that arose after the administrative-territorial reform. This was reported by the Bishkek city administration.
The meeting gathered residents from areas such as Maevka, Tendik, Kalyis-Ordo, Stepnoye, MTU No. 207, as well as residential neighborhoods "Muras-Ordo," "Dacha-Suu," "Kut," and the village of Ozyornoye, along with representatives of city services and departments.
During the meeting, various social and infrastructure problems were discussed. Among them were issues related to the lack of educational institutions, kindergartens, medical points, and public transport, as well as the insufficient speed of sewage and drainage system cleaning, lack of street lighting, the need for traffic lights and pedestrian crossings, as well as the unsatisfactory condition of pumping stations and safety levels.
Additionally, residents expressed concern about the high prices for cut firewood, which ranged from 2000 to 3000 soms, the condition of the bridge leading to "Muras-Ordo," and the increased humidity in 18 ponds in this area.
In response, the mayor proposed to consider the possibility of free distribution of cut firewood for low-income individuals and instructed the relevant services to verify the facts of their sale.
Answering questions about land amnesty, the mayor stated that in cases where illegal constructions hinder road works, necessary measures will be taken by March. He also indicated that road works would begin in March 2026.
As part of the administrative-territorial reform, work will be carried out to improve sewage and water supply systems in the new territories according to the established plan.
It was also reported about the construction of a school for 750 students in the "Kut" residential area.
As a result of the meeting, Aibek Junushaliev gave specific instructions to the heads of city services and noted that he would personally monitor the implementation of all raised issues.
