A New Director Appointed at the Higher School of Justice under the Supreme Court

Today, the official presentation of the new director — Erkin Toktombetov — took place at the Higher School of Justice. The event was conducted by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mederbek Satyiev.

During his speech, Satyiev emphasized the importance of the Higher School of Justice in the country's judicial system. He outlined the main tasks that the educational institution faces in the near future. The head of the Supreme Court highlighted that this school plays a key role in improving the quality of justice, shaping professional perceptions among judges, and strengthening their ethics and independence.

Furthermore, Satyiev noted that the growing complexity of legal relations, as well as progress in digitalization and society's demand for transparency, require the implementation of innovative approaches and modern teaching methods. In this regard, he emphasized that the Higher School of Justice should develop as an intellectual center of the judicial system.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court expressed confidence that the new director, possessing significant experience in the judicial and managerial spheres, would be able to significantly improve the institution's activities. According to him, Toktombetov will need to address the tasks of enhancing the quality of education, implementing relevant educational methodologies, and creating a unified platform for the professional growth of judges, judicial system employees, and law enforcement agencies.

Erkin Toktombetov received his higher legal education at the Kyrgyz State University named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR from 1985 to 1990. In 2008, he was elected a member of the Council of Judges of Kyrgyzstan and later became its deputy chairman.
