In the Uzgen district of the Osh region, one of the largest tournaments in alaman ulak took place, attracting over 30,000 spectators and numerous riders from all corners of Kyrgyzstan. This information was provided by the tournament organizers.

The event was initiated by the famous kokboru player Manas Niyazov, who had previously announced the participation of athletes from countries such as China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. Among the prizes were three cars, one hundred camels, as well as horses and other awards.

The tournament was held at a traditional venue at the foot of the mountains, where both ulakchi and their supporters began to gather early in the morning. The atmosphere was vibrant: numerous cars surrounded the field, the roar of the crowd could be heard, dust was rising from the hooves of the horses, and the competition was intense in every round.

As a result of the competition, the main prize, a car, went to an ulakchi named Argen. His horse confidently surged ahead and was the first to bring the ulak to the finish line.

The organizers emphasized that the total prize fund included not only the car but also traditional awards — horses, as well as large and small livestock.

It should be noted that two incidents were recorded during the tournament. According to the police, one of the riders, who fell into the river with his horse, unfortunately, died. The second incident involved a car that rolled down a slope, and the driver was taken to the hospital.

Despite these tragic cases, the tournament successfully concluded and became one of the most attended events in recent years.
