The solemn event was part of the annual photo exhibition titled "The World, Me, and You," which was organized in collaboration with the international fair Paris Photo — a significant event in the world of contemporary photography.
Since its inception in 1997, the Paris Photo exhibition has attracted over 100,000 visitors annually. This year, the joint exhibition of Huawei and Paris Photo took place for the third time.
The Huawei XMAGE Awards 2025 competition gathered over 743,000 photographs from 78 countries and regions. In addition to the three main categories, a special list called XMAGE 100 was presented, featuring outstanding works that did not make it to the main competition. From this list, three winners were selected and awarded the title of "Grand Prix of the Year."
The jury members noted that each of the presented works illustrates how mobile photography can convey not only a visual frame but also emotion, a moment, and a state.
