In Karakol, in the "Kirpichny" microdistrict, residents are facing a lack of drinking water, reports a regional correspondent.

Local residents are appealing to the authorities to promptly restore water supply and organize water delivery until it is restored.

According to the residents themselves, the problem began on February 16, when the water was turned off around 3:00 PM, and it has not been supplied since then.

As reported by the Karakol Water Utility, specialists are on-site working to restore the water supply.

Representatives of the water utility explained: "The water supply system in the microdistrict was installed in 1955. Currently, air has accumulated in the pipes. Employees worked until 3:00 AM checking manholes and removing air from the system. In the 'Altyn Kazyq' area, adjacent to 'Kirpichny', water is already being supplied. We plan to restore the water supply in the 'Kirpichny' microdistrict by evening," they stated.

It was also added that a 10-cubic-meter water truck is delivering clean water to residents.
