In the near future, 50% of all mortgage apartments that will be put into operation in the country will be available through shared construction. This was reported by Kylchbek Keldibekov, head of the sales department of the State Mortgage Company, in an interview on Birinchi Radio.
Keldibekov explained that there is a misconception that transferring a thousand apartments automatically increases the number of people in line by one thousand.
“If we transfer a thousand apartments, they are distributed among those in need of housing in one category. The process of distributing apartments is carried out through various mechanisms,” he added.Within the framework of the current program, three key areas are highlighted:
- “Preferential mortgage” for civil servants and employees of budget organizations;
- “Affordable mortgage” for private sector workers;
- “Social mortgage” for people from socially vulnerable groups.
“People without their own housing can receive an apartment out of turn if they pay 50% of the cost. We use these funds to finance construction work, which allows us to speed up the process of building new houses and providing citizens with housing,” he noted.
“Thanks to this mechanism, mortgage houses are actively being built in the country. Since available state funds are limited, this mechanism has become necessary. We plan to allocate half of all newly introduced apartments through shared construction,” Keldibekov added.The remaining 50% of apartments will be distributed according to the three aforementioned areas on a percentage basis. For example, if 500 out of a thousand apartments are allocated through shared construction, the remaining 500 will be distributed among “Preferential mortgage,” “Affordable mortgage,” and “Social mortgage.”
