The President noted that providing citizens with housing remains one of the key tasks of state policy. The "Muras" complex includes 39 blocks, of which 19 have already been completed, and at the current stage, keys to 1,080 apartments have been handed over, adding to the previously transferred 986 apartments.
In 2025, the company provided housing for 4,662 families, which is four times more than the previous year. Since the establishment of the State Mortgage Company, 14,945 families have received their own housing.
Sadyr Japarov also reported on the ongoing construction of 80,245 mortgage apartments across the country. This year, it is planned to hand over more than 20,000 apartments to citizens in various regions, including Bishkek, Osh, and other cities.
Speaking about affordable housing, the president emphasized the importance of accurate calculations and analysis that the State Mortgage Company conducts to achieve the program's goals. He highlighted that apartments are provided to residents with no down payment for up to 25 years at low interest rates, making housing accessible for citizens.
"For example, in Bishkek and the Chui region, we have instructed private companies to build housing and deliver it 'turnkey' for just $700 per square meter. The State Mortgage Company adds $250 and sells apartments for $950 per square meter," Japarov clarified.
The president also noted that it is necessary to consider the rising prices of construction materials and infrastructure development when determining the final cost of housing. He stated that in the future, the State Mortgage Company plans to switch to self-financing, which will allow it to provide housing for people for decades.
"This year, we will allocate about $500 million to the State Mortgage Company from the budget for the last time. Starting next year, the company will no longer receive budget funds, which will allow it to operate based on its own capital," added Sadyr Japarov.
After handing over the keys, the president familiarized himself with the apartments and spoke with the residents, who expressed gratitude for the attention to housing issues. He assured that the state will continue to make efforts to build modern and affordable homes for citizens.
