As clarified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the following points are available for crossing the border:
- The "Bajgiran" point, which is intended exclusively for holders of diplomatic passports;
- The "Artyk" and "Sarahs" points, which are open to all holders of civilian passports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly recommends that citizens facing problems contact the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Turkmenistan or directly the Ministry itself.
