After his release from prison, web cam studio founder Daniel Azhiev used a helicopter for his relocation. This information became known thanks to social media posts.

According to eyewitness accounts, the video was filmed on February 17 near Correctional Institution No. 8, located in the village of Petrovka in the Moscow district.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that the helicopter was rented on January 22. A citizen who contacted the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations signed the relevant contract and paid about 270,000 soms. The route specified in the document included a flight from the village of Petrovka to the capital, the city of Bishkek. At the same time, the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic was not violated.

"Transportation of weapons, explosives, drugs, and persons who are wanted is prohibited," the agency added.

However, after information about the flight spread, the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations initiated an internal investigation. The Aviation Department was instructed to monitor who rents helicopters and for what purpose in the future.

Daniel Azhiev was previously sentenced to 9 years with property confiscation. The Pervomaisky District Court found him guilty of several articles of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, including Article 160 Part 1 ("Organization or maintenance of brothels for prostitution or pimping for debauchery or prostitution"), Article 161 ("Distribution of pornographic materials"), Article 261 Part 1 ("Creation of an organized group or participation in it"), and Article 215 Part 3 ("Causing property damage through deception or abuse of trust").

In addition, he was deprived of the right to engage in entrepreneurial activities for a period of 2 years, serving his sentence in a general regime correctional colony and fined 220,000 soms.

In 2026, Azhiev was pardoned and was released on February 17.
