In the Jalal-Abad region, the repair of 555 transformers with a voltage of 6–10/0.4 kV is planned, as well as the installation of 14 new units. This information was provided by the Ministry of Energy.
The work will be carried out from March to November 2026. During the repair, an analysis of the technical condition of the transformers will be conducted, worn components will be replaced, and necessary technical maintenance will be performed.
The commissioning of new transformers will contribute to improving the quality of electricity transmission, balancing the load, and ensuring reliable power supply for consumers.
The repair and installation of new transformers will be carried out in the following districts and settlements:
- Aksy District — 55 transformers under repair, 1 new;
- Ala-Buka District — 67 transformers under repair, 1 new;
- Bazar-Korgon District — 41 transformers under repair, 2 new;
- Manas City — 24 transformers under repair, 2 new;
- Kara-Kul City — 19 transformers under repair, 1 new;
- Kok-Art Valley — 53 transformers under repair, 1 new;
- Mailuu-Suu City — 10 transformers under repair, 1 new;
- Nooken District — 71 transformers under repair, 2 new;
- Suzak District — 81 transformers under repair, 2 new;
- Toktogul District — 92 transformers under repair, 1 new;
- Tash-Kumyr City — 28 transformers under repair;
- Chatkal District — 14 transformers under repair.
It should be noted that the Jalal-Abad Electric Networks Enterprise has 4,348 transformers on its balance sheet throughout the region. This year, all of them will undergo complete technical maintenance and repair. The equipment upgrade is financed by JSC "NESC" and carried out by the Jalal-Abad Electric Networks Enterprise.
