Bigser Cup 2026: Bishkek hosts an international gymnastics tournament

Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, has become an important center for gymnasts representing six countries gathered for the international tournament Bigser Cup 2026. The competitions are taking place at the "Gazprom - Children" sports and health complex and are included in the calendar of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) for the first time, highlighting their high status.

This year, over 200 athletes from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan are participating in the tournament. Evgenia Bykovskaya, president of the Bishkek Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, noted that the FIG license obtained is a result of the successful organization of previous events, qualified judging, and active support from the participating countries.

The program of the Bigser Cup 2026 includes both individual performances and group exercises, promising a spectacular display. For many gymnasts, this tournament is not only a chance to strengthen international ties but also an important stage for confirming sports qualifications and identifying the best in their age categories.

The names of the winners will be announced on the final day of the tournament, which will take place on March 8. Organizers emphasize that holding such competitions contributes to the development of rhythmic gymnastics in Kyrgyzstan and enhances the skill level of local athletes on the international stage.
