
As part of the event, on March 14, 2026, at 12:00, a grand opening will be held at the T. Abdumomunov Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theater featuring a vibrant dance show "Rhythms of Bollywood," organized by the folk dance ensemble "Kauhar."
The main screenings of Indian films will take place at the House of Cinema in Bishkek daily from March 15 to 18, 2026. Admission to all screenings will be free; however, seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 12:00.
Among the films presented:
March 15, 2026, 12:00: "Mary Kom" (Hindi, dubbed in Russian). The story of the life of Indian boxer Mary Kom, who overcame numerous challenges on her way to her dream.
March 16, 2026, 12:00: "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" (Hindi, dubbed in Russian). This film tells the story of Milkha Singh, who faced difficulties during the partition of India and Pakistan.
March 17, 2026, 12:00: "The Journey of Bumba" (Assamese, Russian subtitles). The plot revolves around a small primary school with only one student named Bumba, and how the teachers strive to keep the school open.
March 18, 2026, 12:00: "The Commander" (Marathi, Russian subtitles). This film tells the story of a 14-year-old boy with a strong voice who dreams of leading the parade and catches attention during the rehearsal for Republic Day.
