A kindergarten for children with disabilities has started construction in Bishkek

The establishment of an institution with 250 places will provide special conditions for the rehabilitation and development of children.

In Bishkek, as part of the project to create the kindergarten "Үмүт чырагы," a capsule was laid, conducted by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev. This step was covered by the government’s press service.

Kasymaliev emphasized that this project is an important step in meeting the needs of children and their families. He noted that the creation of a specialized institution is significant both for society as a whole and for parents raising children with special needs.

According to him, the new kindergarten will be part of efforts to improve preschool education in Kyrgyzstan. In recent years, the enrollment rate of children in kindergartens has significantly increased—from 28.3% in 2024 to 51% in 2025. Currently, there are more than 2,300 kindergartens in the country, attended by over 320,000 children. The government plans to increase this figure to 80% by 2030.

The construction is being carried out with the support of Artvin Development Company.

According to the project, the kindergarten will be two stories, designed for 250 places, with a total area of over 3,400 square meters. Inside, there will be various educational rooms, gymnastics and speech therapy offices, as well as a contact zoo, which will create favorable conditions for the comprehensive development of children.
