The ceremony for laying the first stone of the Football Academy in Khujand took place in Tajikistan. This significant event, held in the Sirdarya microdistrict, was attended by the chairman of the Sughd region, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, and the mayor of Khujand, Firdavs Sharifzoda.
The upcoming sports complex promises to become one of the most modern training bases in the country. The project includes an administrative building, two full-sized and two small football fields, as well as an indoor arena that allows for training at any time of the year. Additionally, the academy plans to build a swimming pool and a modern gym for training.
The design of the complex is being carried out by the company "Khushofar," while the client is the city’s capital construction management. Full funding for this project is provided by the executive body of state power in Khujand.
The new academy is intended to become an important center for training young footballers and to promote the development of professional sports in the Sughd region.
