Anthony Joshua, the renowned British heavyweight, decided to pay tribute to his friends, Sine Gami and Latife "Latz" Ayodele, who tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Nigeria in December.
During the incident, Joshua was in the car and sustained injuries, after which he was hospitalized. On his right bicep, he got a tattoo featuring the names "LATZ" and "SINA," positioned beneath the outline of Africa, which he already had on his arm.
The boxer described his friends as "brothers, companions, business partners, and neighbors," and promised to support their families in helping to fulfill their dreams.
Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, stated that it is currently unclear whether the boxer will return to professional fights. Nevertheless, Joshua continues to train, focusing on personal recovery and strengthening his mental resilience after the incident.
This tattoo has become a symbol of remembrance and dedication for one of the most famous boxers in the world.
