At the second ranking tournament of 2026 held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, the Kyrgyzstan national team in freestyle wrestling finished in 7th place.

The men's competitions took place on February 25 and 26, during which 10 sets of medals were contested.

The Kyrgyzstan team consisted of 10 athletes who managed to win three medals: one gold, one silver, and one bronze.

The team scored 55 points in the team standings, allowing them to take 7th place among 29 participants.

In the under 70 kg category, the Kyrgyz wrestlers achieved success, winning gold thanks to Ernazar Akmataliev and bronze brought by Zalkarbek Tabaldiev. However, according to the rules, points in the team standings are awarded only for the achievements of one athlete from the country, which resulted in Kyrgyzstan not receiving an additional 15 points for Tabaldiev's bronze.
