
Kyrgyz wrestler Ernazar Akmataliev has taken the second position in the updated world ranking of the United World Wrestling (UWW).
This ranking was compiled based on the results of the tournament held in Albania.
He competed in the 70-kilogram category, where he managed to win a gold medal.
This success allowed him to rise from third place to second, trailing only behind Olympic champion Yasinosuke Aoyagi from Japan.
Akzhol Mahmudov, another representative from Kyrgyzstan, is in 31st place in the world ranking. He competed in the 82-kilogram weight category at the tournament in Tirana (Albania), where he finished in 10th place out of 19 participants.
Meanwhile, another wrestler, Zholaman Sharshenbekov, has been removed from the UWW world ranking.
