
From February 25 to March 1, the international ranking tournament Muhamet Malo will take place in Tirana, Albania, where Kyrgyz wrestler Akjol Makhmudov will participate in Greco-Roman style.
The athlete will compete in the weight category up to 82 kg and will represent the national team of Kyrgyzstan.
Recently, on February 13, Makhmudov achieved victory over his Bulgarian opponent Aik Mnatsakanyan, finishing the match with a score of 5:2 at the SUPER 4 WRESTLING tournament.
For Akjol, this tournament in Albania will be his second official competition after winning a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Additionally, in November 2025, he won gold at the 2025 Islamic Games.
