At the Naiza Jekpe-Jek tournament in Kazakhstan, an incident occurred that led to a scandal: Kazakh fighter Arli Aliyev and his opponent from Kyrgyzstan, Maxim Pavlov, became the center of attention after their match, reports Sports.kz.

Pavlov won against Aliyev by delivering a strike on the ground, which forced the referee to stop the fight and declare a technical knockout in favor of the Kyrgyz fighter. However, Aliyev disagreed with the decision and approached Pavlov, suggesting to continue the match, which led to a conflict.

Fortunately, the referee was able to intervene and prevent further escalation, after which the fighters shook hands and embraced, thereby easing the tension.

“It was an incredible comeback and scuffle after the final gong! The fight between Maxim Pavlov and Arli Aliyev became a true test. Although Aliyev controlled the course of the match, Pavlov managed to change its direction with one powerful strike,” noted Naiza FC.

The format of the NAIZA Jekpe-Jek tournaments from the Kazakh league NAIZA is aimed at identifying young talents from Central Asia, where fighters have the chance to secure a contract with the main league and participate in larger tournaments.
