The World Boxing Futures Cup for boxers under 19 took place from March 8 to 15 in Bangkok.
Asanova competed in the weight category up to 70 kg, which had only 5 participants.
According to the draw, the Kyrgyzstani boxer started her competition in the semifinals, where she faced Italian athlete Sarra Scorrano.
In the first round, the Italian confidently led with a score of 5:0 (10-8, 10-9, 10-8, 10-8, 10-8), and in the final minute of the second round, the referee decided to stop the fight due to several knockdowns.
Although Asanova was unable to secure a victory, she took third place and was awarded a bronze medal.
