Wagner Love officially announced his retirement


Wagner Love, the former forward of Moscow's CSKA, officially announced his retirement. The Brazilian shared this news in a video message posted on social media.

From 2004 to 2012 and again in 2013, the forward played for the capital club, appearing in a total of 259 matches. During this time, he scored 124 goals and provided 53 assists. While with CSKA, Wagner Love became a three-time champion of Russia, won the national cup six times, and was part of the team that won the UEFA Cup in the 2004/05 season.

At the time of his retirement announcement, the Brazilian footballer was 41 years old. He will forever be remembered as one of the most memorable foreign players in the history of Russian football.
