A key moment was a failure on the seventh hole—a short putt was missed, causing him to emotionally strike the ground with his club. After that, the opponents seized the initiative. The winning team featured outstanding performances from Justin Rose, Sahith Theegala, and Tommy Fleetwood.
After the match, Woods noted that he is closely monitoring his condition ahead of the Masters tournament. He emphasized that recovery from surgery takes time and caution. For him, the upcoming tournament in Augusta will be an important test for the current season.
