During his visit, the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), Kamchybek Tashiev, handed over 10 service vehicles to the medical staff of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCOMH), as previously promised by the agency. This was reported by the GKNB press service.

These vehicles will significantly improve the work of emergency response teams, allowing them to reach the center faster and increasing the overall efficiency of their operations. The new vehicles will ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the institution and create safer conditions for both patients and staff.

In addition, Tashiev inspected the territory of the NCOMH, which has been completely reconstructed for the first time since 1995. Work has been done on a 4,400 m² area to clean and level the ground, lay new asphalt, install lighting, and improve landscaping, making the space more comfortable and safe.

The reconstruction of the territory is just one of the projects initiated by the Colonel General. Under his leadership, a new road was built connecting the center with Tynalieva Street, significantly improving transport accessibility. The NCOMH also received modern medical equipment, including an endoscopic ultrasound machine and several new ultrasound devices, a video gastroscope, a video bronchoscope, and a video colonoscope, which significantly expand the diagnostic capabilities of the center.

Expressing congratulations to the staff on receiving the new vehicles, Tashiev emphasized that creating comfortable conditions for medical workers and patients is an important priority for the state in the field of healthcare. He wished success and further professional achievements to the entire team.

It is important to note that all initiatives implemented under the direction of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Chairman of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev, are aimed at improving the material and technical base of the NCOMH, enhancing the working conditions of medical personnel, and increasing the quality of care provided to women and children.

The NCOMH remains one of the main medical institutions in the country, providing highly specialized assistance. Annually, about 30,000 children receive inpatient treatment here, up to 15,000 surgeries of varying complexity are performed, and around 150,000 young patients receive outpatient care, with approximately 6,000 children born in the perinatal center. The center actively implements modern technologies and methods of diagnosis and treatment.
