According to decree No. 328, signed on November 24, starting from January 1, 2026, ministries and other state institutions under the control of the president and the Cabinet must transfer their departments dealing with anti-corruption issues to the General Prosecutor's Office. Exceptions will be made for the State Committee for National Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Social Fund, and institutions with special powers. As part of this transfer, budget funds will also be allocated for the maintenance of authorized persons, as well as assistance to these individuals in their interactions with other public servants.
The aim of this decision is to enhance the effectiveness of the work of authorized representatives in the fight against corruption within state structures, as stated in the document.
