Political scientist is confident that the country will focus on the upcoming presidential elections
Arkady Dubnov, a political scientist, stated on social media that no riots or protests should be expected in Kyrgyzstan after the elections.
“At the moment, the situation is calm and organized, as the authorities anticipated. Protests following the voting will not take place, which eliminates the possibility of a violent change of power, as has happened previously in Kyrgyzstan. In conditions of stability, the ruling tandem will prepare for the presidential elections scheduled for January 2027,” Dubnov noted.
