According to law enforcement agencies, a total of ten people have been detained, who, by court decision, will remain in custody until January 17, 2026:
- Temirlan Sultanbekov;
- Shailoobek Atazov, a former member of the Jogorku Kenesh;
- Ermek Ermatov, mentioned in some sources as the driver of Temirlan Sultanbekov;
- Damir Musakeev, former head of the Ninth Service of the State National Security Committee and deputy chairman of the security services, who protected ex-president Almazbek Atambayev;
- Kadir Atambaev, son of Almazbek Atambayev;
- Urmat Askarbekov, a businessman also known as Urmat Baryktabasov;
- Kubanychbek Kadyrov, former member of parliament;
- A. u. E., born in 1993;
- K.N., also born in 1993;
- Sh.T., born in 1986.
Information about the identities of the last three detainees is currently unavailable.
All detainees are charged under Articles 36 "Preparation for a Crime" and 41 "Types of Accomplices." As for the committed crime, two articles are cited: 278 "Organization of Mass Riots" (for seven individuals) and 326 "Violent Seizure of Power" (for three individuals).
It should be noted that on November 22, numerous arrests were made. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the cessation of activities of a group planning to organize mass riots after the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh, among those detained were political figures, former deputies, and the son of ex-president Almazbek Atambayev.
