On December 12, a meeting of experts took place in Bishkek, where the focus was on the need to develop a new strategy for Kyrgyzstan's pension system by 2040. Representatives from government structures, business, and international organizations participated in the discussion.

Meeting participants noted that in recent years, the country's pension system has undergone changes: pension amounts have increased, administration has become more efficient, and services have been digitized, which has reduced the burden on citizens. These measures have contributed to increased stability for pensioners.

In this regard, experts emphasized the importance of creating a strategy by 2040 that will define key directions for further improving the system. The Social Fund noted that work on the reform is ongoing, and the next steps will focus on addressing identified issues.

In conclusion, participants expressed their readiness to continue dialogue and cooperation in developing a new strategy aimed at providing citizens with decent pensions and strengthening the fairness and sustainability of the pension system.
