Kyrgyzstan Strengthens Investment Partnership with Japan

The international business forum titled "Central Asia + Japan" took place in Tokyo as part of the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov. As a result of this event, over 20 bilateral agreements were signed. The forum was co-organized by the National Investment Agency under the President.

According to the agency, the main focus of the forum was the development of trade, economic, and investment relations between Japan and Central Asia. Representatives from government structures, businesses, and experts participated, including nearly fifty members of the business community from Kyrgyzstan.

During the business program, key areas of cooperation were discussed, such as sustainable development, the creation of a "green" economy, digitalization, and the development of the IT sector, as well as issues related to human capital and educational programs.

Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency, emphasized the importance of the "Central Asia + Japan" format for fostering constructive dialogue and strengthening partnership relations. He noted that Kyrgyzstan is interested in deepening cooperation with Japan and implementing joint investment and innovation projects on a mutually beneficial basis.

The "Central Asia + Japan" forum confirmed the commitment of both sides to expanding trade and economic ties, attracting investments, and strengthening long-term strategic partnership between Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
