Bishkek to host the 'C5+1' forum: Central Asia and the USA will discuss new priorities
From February 4 to 5, 2026, the Second 'C5+1' forum will take place in Bishkek. This was announced at a briefing organized for ambassadors accredited in Kyrgyzstan as part of the preparations for this event.

The forum is the result of agreements reached at the 'C5+1' summit held on November 6 in Washington. The main goal of the event will be to develop regional integration, improve the investment climate in Central Asia, and expand economic interaction with the United States.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the discussions at the forum will focus on topics such as agricultural development, e-commerce, the IT sector, transportation and logistics, tourism, the banking sector, as well as cooperation in critical minerals.
These areas are seen as key to deepening economic ties between Central Asia and the USA.

The organization of the 'C5+1' forum in Bishkek emphasizes Kyrgyzstan's readiness to become an active platform for constructive dialogue between the public and private sectors. This event is expected to be an important step towards forming new economic priorities and partnership initiatives in the 'Central Asia - USA' format.
