Overall, fuel prices increased in 47 regions of Russia in September.
For comparison, the following list presents price changes:
- Republic of Ingushetia: increase of 8.5%;
- Moscow: increase of 1.0%;
- Saint Petersburg: increase of 1.5%.
No region recorded a decrease in fuel prices.The average price for a liter of gasoline in Russia in September was 63.78 rubles, while the cost of AI-92 reached 60.60 rubles. AI-95 averaged 65.90 rubles/liter, while AI-98 and above cost 85.51 rubles/liter, and diesel fuel was 72.63 rubles/liter.
The ranking of regions with the highest gasoline prices in September changed dramatically, with all ten positions on the list updated compared to August.
As for diesel fuel, the leaders in high prices were the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Sakhalin, and Magadan regions.
On the other hand, the Republic of Ingushetia was among the regions with the lowest diesel fuel prices, which amounted to 65.11 rubles per liter by the end of September.
