Specialists from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry began their work from November 4 to 6 as part of scheduled monitoring. The goal of this monitoring was not only to assess the conditions in which fish are kept but also to improve coordination to prevent diseases.

Representatives from various agencies participated in the raid, including the Department of Fishery Industry and the Veterinary Management of Chui Region, as well as the Chui-Bishkek Territorial Administration of Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control, highlighting an inter-agency approach to addressing issues in this area.

Experts carefully checked compliance with veterinary-sanitary and fishery-biological norms. An important aspect was providing advisory assistance to entrepreneurs, which is necessary to improve product quality and comply with technical regulations.

As a result of the monitoring, deficiencies were identified, and recommendations were given to fish farm owners for their prompt rectification.

The Department of Fishery Complex is currently actively working on developing the industry with local users. The main tasks include ensuring compliance with sanitary norms and consolidating farms through the creation of cooperatives, which should enhance the export potential of fish from Kyrgyzstan.

As noted by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, "the consolidation of farms and increasing the responsibility of fish farm users are important requirements of the time."

In the vicinity of Tokmok, three fish farming cooperatives are already operating: "Rybovod," "Spartak Trout," and "Raduzhka." Work continues to involve other farms in the cooperative movement.
