According to information provided by the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, Qatar plans to attract medical workers from Uzbekistan.

During a meeting between Behzod Musaev, the head of the agency, and Abdulhadi Bakhtin Barkan, the director of the recruiting company Jusour, the details of the previously signed partnership agreement, which was concluded during the visit of the Uzbek delegation to Qatar in January, were discussed.

The participants of the negotiations also addressed issues related to simplifying the process of attracting qualified personnel. Barkan emphasized the high demand in Qatar for specialists in IT, telecommunications, construction, and junior medical staff, including nurses.

He also reported that the Qatari government is ready to provide "golden visas" to surgeons.

Additionally, the negotiations discussed the integration of the Uzbek platform Xorijda Ish with the Qatari service Tawzeef. Meeting participants noted Uzbekistan's efforts to prepare migrants for work abroad.

In January 2024, the Qatari company Elegancia Healthcare also initiated discussions with Uzbekistan about the possibility of recruiting Uzbek personnel, planning to invite 50 doctors and nurses in the first wave, followed by another 20 specialists.
